From your favorite tall missionary
Me and Elder Bethers had another great week together.
Met a family who has a daughter that wants to be baptized but only wanted Sister missionaries.
One of our friends we teach has been struggling and so we visited him and hes been in and out of prison his whole life but hes trying his best to be a saint. We gave him a blessing and he told us how he felt so "tingly" and he told us he had never calmed down so quick in his whole life.
We found a spiders nest inside my bench press (we were wondering why spiders seemed to love our workout room) and we lit it on fire.
Had a good meeting with some other missionaries Wednesday, we had been busy all day before the meeting and never had time to prepare much for it so a Sister missionary told me how im inconsiderate and that me, my companion, and 2 other missionaries needed to step it up. But we were patient and let it slide.
We interviewed a girl for baptism in Hammett Idaho which was cool. Some small towns out here. Elder Bethers went downstairs and hid for an hour and a half to try and scare me and I just ignored him and worked out haha.
We went to Grandview and talked to people, met a man who never learned to read and write and was almost deaf. I had to yell 5 times as i walked over to him before he even noticed us. Grandview is like going to another country, it's humbling to see people living in houses as small as our living room.
We visited one lady and almost immediately we were prompted to ask her if she needed a blessing which she did. We gave her a blessing for her COPD and then her husband told us to leave when we tried shaking his hand.
Worked out with a guy we teach and he showed us things that Arnold Schwarzenegger supposedly taught him.
We were told Elder Bethers 2nd mission call would be in Boise but it wasn't. But I got to see some missionaries I havent seen in a bit. Then we visited people in Mayfield. After that a freak storm came by back in Mountain Home and knocked out everyones power. We also saw blue electricity/fire blow up from some power lines. So we used that time to visit some people. The spirit directed us to some different people and we passed out Book of Mormons.
Sunday we sang in the choir at church, something was definitely wrong with us haha.
Well have an awesome week everyone!
