weekly email from your favorite missionary

Just got done talking to the man who had died and come back in my last area with our ZLs, this morning we also drive around on the little old people cartsvat walmart which made shopping fun. 


Had a good week up here in Boise! 

 Tuesdayit snowed a little, we had a great lesson with a girl we teach, did some service at the thrift store, a lady we see told us how she used to be Putins waitress. 

 Wednesday we did lots of visiting and biking around to see people. Had another great lesson with another girl we teach. We ordered dominos to a man who doesnt come to church and we showed up and told him that pizza was coming and he didnt believe us, then it showed up and we had a good time. 

 Thursday we biked a bunch and visited people and ate some salted nut bars and nachos at the gas station. That night i interviewed a lady thats gonna get baptized. 

 Friday we had a good district council, got a new sister in the district. Then we ate at a pizza place then we did service for some people then we tried "service tracting" which is where we stayed in regular clothes for the rest of the day and knocked on doors to see if we could help anyone with anything. We also gave a lady a blessing. 

 Saturday we had subway with our zone leaders then we went to the ladys baptism. Then later that day we tried out a kids drift trike in the rain in our suits. Then we shared a message at a girls birthday party and ate good food. 
Sunday we had church, it rained a bunch and we shot hoops with some kids in there driveway, visited people, then we had a great lesson  with a lady we teach. 

 Monday we had exchanhes, I got to be with Elder Mackey and we had a good time. We did service, i ate a lunch then some members offered us Tucanos, then we had a lesson then got picked up for chinese food, then we saw some people and heard a good Near-death experience from someone. Then had another lesson. 

 Good week! 

 Church is true, book is blue, God loves each and every one of you! Seek truth, and you will find it!

9/2: we played sports with a bunch of other missionaries. A member of the church from Mountain Home got us dinner at Tucanos which was great 9/3: Elder Nelson woke up sick. A member called and told us how we had "P day then Poo day". Since I didnt want to sit around all day me and one of the missionaries that lives with us went out. We had a good study/talk about how our heart needs to be in the right place as we follow Christ. It's useless just going through the motions. We volunteered at the Idaho Youth Ranch, then gave a lady a blessing.  9/4: Nothing crazy, just studied in the bible with one man we're teaching 9/5: After studying we got into our minivan and Elder Nelson tried turning the key and it wouldn't turn in the ignition. He tried a couple times and then I tried once and we were good to go. We helped a man move a bunch of rocks with buckets. Great week this week! Nothing too crazy happened this week, transfer calls (when we have the possibility of being moved to different areas) happens tomorrow which is exciting, hopefully I stay in my area because the people here are awesome Monday-We got together as a district and me and Elder Thompson made a sweet mini golf course, then we visited a man who was amazed we showed up because he needed someone to give his mother a blessing which was awesome Tuesday-Taught a family that morning about being children of our heavenly father, met Joseph Smiths little brother's  (William Smith)  descendant  which was interesting, helped out a man move furniture, then we made more visits Wednesday-Helped out a guy take down his wooden fence, then we helped a family move a huge mattress and bed pieces, had a few appointments fall through Thursday-Did service at the idaho youth ranch then we were driving around with a member and he randomly said "I have to poop...reall...

One transfer (6 weeks) down! Busy in Boise!

Been a great week this week, got tons of stuff done as always.  Monday  we played volleyball and some chair soccer with our district.  Tuesday  me and Elder Thompson started off the day with some studies at the church.  We felt prompted to bring 2 book of mormons with us to the church building. We brought them and while we studied 3 refugees from Kenya came up to the door, they needed directions and we helped them then we taught them about the book of mormon and they wanted not one book, but two.  Later that day we were making visits and we spotted a wiener dog running around. Work was going slow so we decided to follow it. As we were following the dog we thought of a boy we could go visit. A mile later this dog ran to the door of the boys house we were gonna go in.
