Salt, pepper, and foot detoxes
Great week, tuesday night we had an awesome dinner appointment, we bore our testimonies and it was powerful.
wednesday we did lots of biking around and Elder Parkers bike pedal kept falling off (he uses the same bike my trainer used). Later that day w ehad 2 great lessons. Everyone we teach, the members, and our misison president love our companionship, me and Elder Parker are practically brothers. We even burp at the same time.
thursday we had inspections then we worked on our video were making about the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Had a good dinner with some people who dont usually come to church and we had a great lesson using salt, pepper and a spoon.
Friday we had a great district council. Then we worked more on our video. Then we had a good dinner, a lady told me part of the reason she hasnt left the church is because she liked me as a missionary haha, little strange. Then w evisited a friend of ours who doesnt usually come to church and he gave us $20. Then we had a foot detox, it was intereesting. Didnt know so much could come out of my foot.
Saturday we went to Tucanos and some members came and paid for us and ate with us. Then we spent a few hours biking around with a priest and talked to about 20 different peole. we also worked on our video more too. That evening we went and got sushi with some members and me and Elder Parker ate about 35 pieces of sushi each. Then we had a great appointment that night.
Sunday we went to church, napped, talked to people, had a good dinner, and had 2 really good lessons that were filled with the Holy Ghost.
Yesterday we saw some less actives, had a good dinner and had 2 more great lessons that night.
We have started to pick up the work which is good! Being a missionary is a good time, busy but joyful. Love all of you, I know Christ is a living being, and so is our Heavenly Father. Pray and seek truth!
