Ghost, Huskie, and Hiking

It's been a good week! A few interesting things happened, we scheduled some baptismal dates for a few people we teach which is very exciting.

Today we hiked up table rock (my second time now) for our activity so that was fun. Did lots of service too this week. Helped a man move furniture and put away his blow up pool. Helped a family move their furniture out of their apartment, and helped a member of the church scrape some paint off his floor. Ate pizza and listened to a injured veteran tell us about his life story and how he has come to know our savior Jesus Christ better.

We also were able to have our zone conference (when many missionaries get together for a meeting that lasts almost all day) which was great. Learned lots that I can apply to my mission and my life. Then we had a zone olympics where we did a push up, jump rope, sit up, shooting hoops, bicep curls, sprinting and volleyball competition with another zone (another group of missionaries) so that was way fun.

One night we were biking by a ladys house whom we teach and she had a stray huskie with her. Shes older and wanted to sleep earlier so we offered to hold the dog until the owners came to get her. So we made a makeshift leash and played and stayed with this hyperactive dog until the owners (their number was on her collar) came to get her. The owner was busy working so he told his roommate to come get her. The roommate took an hour and a half to get the dog, and we also heard something from within the trunk of their car parked in the driveway, so it was a fun night dog sitting.

Now the most interesting part of this week is my sighting of a lady that completely disappeared in a few seconds. We were on the driveway after visiting a man and I glanced up and saw a woman about 20 feet away pushing a stroller. I quickly looked back down at my phone to see where our dinner was gonna be (then I was going to walk over and talk to her) but once I looked up she was gone. In about 2-3 seconds she was gone. Me and Elder Wagner biked around the whole block but did not see her anywhere.

So it was a awesome week as it always is when youre a missionary (not easy all the times, but awesome) and seeing a disappearing lady was a plus.

Love all of you and I pray for many of you!
