Week 8!

Just another week up here in Boise! Been extremely busy, Thursday was nuts.

So we got out of our morning lesson and elder Thompsons bike tire was flat for the 2 billionth time so we started walking and we had to do service 45 minutes away in 30 minutes. We prayed for help and not even 10 minutes passed and a church member picked us up, replaced the bike tube, and got us to our service.

After our service we went on to do a bunch more stuff, we were so busy we only spent 30 minutes of our day that day eating. And while we ate we studied. Then it topped off with a great lesson with a investigator. Then we needed our mission president to call us that night before 1030 to give us word on some things we needed. So we prayed he would be prompted to call us, 10 minutes later he called. Such great blessings, god hears us all for sure.

Been doing lots of bookwork lately too, which isnt too fun but its necessary. Last week we visited the BSU stadium (last monday) which was fun. Our investigator Chris may be getting baptized soon, our transfers (when missionaries are switched around areas or they stay) are coming up in several days so thats exciting.

Went throught the Boise temple this morning and it was awesome to be feeling the Holy Ghost so much. We get so muuch anti mormon stuff sometimes but it all comes down to the holy ghost, the only way we can recognize truth from our heavenly father is through the Holy Ghost, the most powerful thing out there.

Over and over we have less active church members and other people who like to bash, but then we invite them to read and just ask god. Simple as that. John 16;24 "ask and ye shall recieve that your joy may be full". As loony as the story of Joseph Smith sounds, it is very very true. The holy ghost shows the truth of all things, and it has shown me, and many others.

I remember we asked our investigator Chris what he felt (first day I was in Boise) and he pointed to his chest and said i feel good, i feel so happy (Galatians 5:22). Anyways its been awesome out here, its way way busy but man it is joyful. God bless you all, pray to him when you need something, in his own time he will answer.
