2nd week as greenie

This week has been pretty sweet, we got our bikes fixed up then Elder Thompsons bike tire tube went flat after about 2 days of riding so we were back to walking.

We got 2 baptisms coming up this month which is awesome. Our investigators all showed up to church which makes us happy.I got to bear my testimony in both my wards which was fun.

Had my first district meeting wednesday. Were now getting fed dinner nearly every night by members now. We got exchanges later this week which will be fun (when missionaries swap companions for a day). Me and Elder Thompson stay super busy every day which is wonderful.

Thats about it, nothing too crazy happened this week, just busy and joyful out here in Boise Central. Love you all, and god bless!

9/2: we played sports with a bunch of other missionaries. A member of the church from Mountain Home got us dinner at Tucanos which was great 9/3: Elder Nelson woke up sick. A member called and told us how we had "P day then Poo day". Since I didnt want to sit around all day me and one of the missionaries that lives with us went out. We had a good study/talk about how our heart needs to be in the right place as we follow Christ. It's useless just going through the motions. We volunteered at the Idaho Youth Ranch, then gave a lady a blessing.  9/4: Nothing crazy, just studied in the bible with one man we're teaching 9/5: After studying we got into our minivan and Elder Nelson tried turning the key and it wouldn't turn in the ignition. He tried a couple times and then I tried once and we were good to go. We helped a man move a bunch of rocks with buckets. Great week this week! Nothing too crazy happened this week, transfer calls (when we have the possibility of being moved to different areas) happens tomorrow which is exciting, hopefully I stay in my area because the people here are awesome Monday-We got together as a district and me and Elder Thompson made a sweet mini golf course, then we visited a man who was amazed we showed up because he needed someone to give his mother a blessing which was awesome Tuesday-Taught a family that morning about being children of our heavenly father, met Joseph Smiths little brother's  (William Smith)  descendant  which was interesting, helped out a man move furniture, then we made more visits Wednesday-Helped out a guy take down his wooden fence, then we helped a family move a huge mattress and bed pieces, had a few appointments fall through Thursday-Did service at the idaho youth ranch then we were driving around with a member and he randomly said "I have to poop...reall...

Mountain Home

So much has happened and will be happening lately. Sadly President Bartlett leaves Friday and we get a new mission President, July 1st our mission merges with Nampas, and I left Boise (Maple Grove Street) for the first time in 14 months. Im now in a small city called Mountain Home and its been a good time. My new companion is Elder Bethers from Utah, were like day 1 homies and we've been together for 4 days now. Heres some highlights of the week: *studied in the bible with a man and had a good talk about the book of James *found a man who wanted us to come back and teach him, so we came back few days later and while we were teaching him he started snorting all his chewing tobacco which was strange. Then he started talking about a DUI he got and i saw a citation on his table and i asked if that was what he got and he said "oh no, that one was for pissing in public" haha.
