From being trained to...Training!
This week has been wild, one of the busiest weeks Ive had so far. So usually you get trained then then you get a time to wait for a little, then you may have the opportunity to train later in the mission. What happens to your boy Elder Jensen? I get to train a great man named Elder Morris (a 2 transfer missionary) he is awesome and learns quick. I hope to help him towards a 2 year mission! The lord and the president have also made me a district leader which means I just help out a few other missionaries in their areas.

Tuesday-Made lots of visits, a guy gave us a free bike frame, a kid gave me free dress shoes, got pictures with a cool member, (since it was the week where we may get transferred I got pictures with people just in case, but i didnt switch areas) then we got our transfer calls... my old companion and trainer left off to Burley
Wednesday-made some more visits, my companion said his good byes, and we studied and i helped him pack
Thursday-Thursday was insane. I went to a early training meeting, then i picked up my greenie Elder Morris, then I said goodbye to Elder Thompson, then me and Elder Morris studied, then taught him how to street contact and do other missionary things, visited another family and that family gave Elder Morris a free bike which was amazing, then dropped off some cookies to a member, then made more visits
Friday-Did our service in the morning, then we (mostly me since Elder Morris is new) planned our week out, then we studied and gave a blessing to a man who needed it, then we felt like we should visit a lady who had previously been taught but no longer wanted to see us (we rarely visit these types of people).
we got there and she was speechless she said "How did you know to be here? I just recieved very bad medical news and I was laying in bed wishing the missionaries would come give me a blessing and now you are here". We all felt the spirit and we were able to give her a blessingt from our Heavenly Father.
Then we had a bunch of mexican food, then we visited a family and taught them, then we met a man who just got kicked out of where he lived, so we gave him our water and our number
Saturday- we got some of our extra clothes, and a book of mormon to the man we had met who is now homeless, then we had lunch with a member, studied, then we had a meeting with our ward mission leader, then we made visits and got shooed away by some guy haha, then we taught another recent convert, then we taught another lady who may get baptized eventually but she also may be just flirting who knows. Then we had chinese buffet with a family, then we made some calls and talked to refugees, then we visited another family
Sunday-One of our recent converts got the priesthood! woohoo. We were able to ordain him to a priest. Not many of the people we teach showed up sadly. Elder Morris kept sleeping so i had to nudge him several times haha. A new guy were teaching came which was awesome. Then we taught a recent convert, then we had a good big dinner, then taught the man who had made it to church and had the best lesson we have ever had with him
All in all a great week, I know that Gods real, and we are all his children. I love all of you and wish you the best!

Yay this is wonderful to hear about our son Elder Morris. Haha teach him to write more about his experiences. This week we got one paragraph so it was nice to read your letter too. I told him his companion would take over nudging him in church. I think he thinks church sleep is the best sleep. Elder Jensen you sound awesome. I am excited that elder Morris gets to have you as his trainer.
